About this opportunity

A 12-week, paid, in-person leadership course for Baltimore City residents and local leaders. The program builds practical skills in community development, violence prevention, environmental design, neighborhood improvement, storytelling, grant writing, project planning, and data-informed problem solving. Participants also have funded opportunities to design and implement grant-funded neighborhood improvement projects in their own communities. The program runs in cycles across different Baltimore Police Department districts — a Northern District cohort ran May 18–August 7, 2026, and a Southeastern District cohort runs August 31–November 20, 2026.
