About this opportunity
The Continuum of Care (CoC) program promotes a community-wide commitment to ending homelessness. It provides federal funding to nonprofit providers and state and local governments to quickly rehouse individuals and families experiencing homelessness while minimizing trauma and dislocation. The program also promotes self-sufficiency and access to mainstream programs. Baltimore City's Mayor's Office of Homeless Services (MOHS) runs a local competition to determine which projects are submitted to HUD for funding. Eligible project types include permanent supportive housing (PSH), rapid re-housing (RRH), transitional housing (TH), supportive services only (SSO), coordinated entry, HMIS, and joint TH-RRH models.
