About this opportunity

The Baltimore County Department of Aging (BCDA) Caregiver Support Program serves family and informal caregivers age 18 and older who care for Baltimore County residents over age 60, older relatives over age 55 with primary responsibility for individuals under 18, and adults aged 18 to 59 with disabilities. The program provides outreach and education events, individual one-hour private consultations with a BCDA Caregiver Specialist (who reviews the caregiving situation, offers guidance and resource suggestions, and provides materials to help caregivers support their older relative while also caring for themselves), a yearly financial respite stipend of $500 to help pay for respite care or medical supplies not covered by Medicare, access to the Trualta online caregiver education platform,…
