About this opportunity

The Healthy Homes Production Grant Program (HHPG), operated by DHCD's Whole Home Energy and Repairs division, provides financial assistance to owner-occupied households to create safer and healthier living environments. The program funds comprehensive home assessments by a Healthy Homes Evaluator and remediation of identified health and safety hazards including mold, lead, gas leaks, roofing, asbestos, electrical, plumbing, radon, structural issues, and more. Grants of up to $15,474 are available to eligible low- to moderate-income homeowners (at or below 80% of Area Median Income) in eight designated Maryland counties, with all repair work performed by licensed contractors.
