About this opportunity

The Part-Time Grant Program provides funds to Maryland public and independent colleges and universities based on the number of undergraduate part-time students with demonstrated financial need who are enrolled in degree-granting programs. Institutions receive allocated funds and then select and award individual recipients. Awards range from $200 to $2,000 per year and can be renewed annually for up to eight years, provided the student maintains satisfactory academic progress, continues to demonstrate financial need, and files the FAFSA or MHEC One App each year. This need-based grant does not have to be repaid. Funds may not be available to award all eligible students.
