About this opportunity
The Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) provides non-competitive grants to Maryland local education agencies (LEAs) that operate Pathways in Technology Early College High School (P-TECH) programs, as authorized by the Pathways in Technology Early College High School Act of 2017 (ED §7-1806). P-TECH is a model that provides wrap-around support services to economically disadvantaged students, helping them earn a high school diploma, a two-year associate (Applied Associates) degree, and first-in-line consideration for employment with a partnering company. Funds cover tuition, fees, textbooks, course materials, transportation to college classes, and support services for enrolled students.
