About this opportunity

Free weatherization services for low- to moderate-income homeowners and renters in Frederick, Carroll, and Washington Counties. The program improves home energy efficiency through air sealing, insulation, heating and cooling system upgrades, energy-efficient lighting, thermostat installation, and health and safety improvements. Eligible households can save $372 or more per year on energy bills. The program includes two tracks: (1) Whole Home Energy Efficiency — a full home energy audit followed by a range of weatherization upgrades; and (2) Crisis Program — emergency HVAC repair or replacement for households currently without a working heating or cooling system, with heating funding available in winter and cooling funding in summer.
