About this opportunity
The Child Care Quality Incentive Grant (CCQIG) provides funds to licensed child care providers in Maryland to improve the quality and professionalism of child care programs. Grants are awarded quarterly each state fiscal year (January, April, July, and October) based on the number of children in care: up to $1,000 for fewer than 10 children; up to $1,500 for up to 29 children; up to $2,500 for more than 30 children. Providers are eligible for a grant award once every three years. Grant funds help providers acquire supplies, materials, and equipment to create stimulating learning environments after they gain additional training and education through the Credentialing Program.
