About this opportunity
A federal program administered through the U.S. Department of Transportation and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), in which the Maryland Clean Energy Center (MCEC) and its partners received grant funding to install electric vehicle (EV) charging stations along Alternative Fuel Corridors and in low-to-moderate income and Justice40 communities across Maryland. Through the Maryland Equitable Charging Infrastructure Partnership (MECIP), statewide public and private partners collaborate to expand equitable charging infrastructure throughout Maryland. A total of 58 MCEC Community Charging Sites have been approved, with a goal of installing 120 EV charging stations statewide.
