About this opportunity

This program provides matching grants to businesses and property owners in Hagerstown's downtown (City Center) to improve storefront signs, façade elements, and commercial signage on commercial, residential, and mixed-use buildings. The goal is to enhance the visual presentation of buildings in the downtown area, boost brand visibility, and increase customer awareness. Two tracks are available: a Commercial Sign grant (up to $1,500) and a Façade grant (up to $7,500), each requiring a 1:1 match from the applicant. Grants are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to funding availability.
