About this opportunity

The Community Grant Program Fund helps local law enforcement agencies establish community programs and helps local government agencies establish violence intervention programs. Eligible programs must provide recreational or athletic opportunities, improve relations between citizens and law enforcement, otherwise benefit or improve the community, or establish violence intervention programs supported by local law enforcement or another local government agency. Up to $500,000 in total grant funding is available for SFY 2027, with individual awards ranging from $5,000 to $50,000 (up to 25 awards). Awards are reimbursed on a quarterly basis with a period of performance from July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027.
