About this opportunity
Federal grants authorized under Section 117(e)(1)(A) of the Clean Water Act that support Maryland in achieving the goals of the 2014 Chesapeake Bay Watershed Agreement. Funding supports implementation of the Agreement's management strategies, with particular focus on reducing nonpoint source nutrient and sediment pollution to improve water quality. Funds also support Sustainable Fisheries, Vital Habitats, Toxic Contaminants, Healthy Watersheds, Stewardship, Land Conservation, Environmental Literacy, and Climate Resiliency goals. Grants require a 1:1 non-federal match. Maryland's Chesapeake and Coastal Service administers the funds in coordination with EPA Region 3 and the Chesapeake Bay Program Office, supporting partners including other state agencies, the University of Maryland system…
