About this opportunity
The Resiliency Through Restoration Initiative provides financial and technical assistance to local governments and non-profit organizations for living shorelines and other nature-based restoration projects that protect Maryland communities from erosion, flooding, and storm and climate change impacts. Funded jointly by the State of Maryland and a federal NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) Coastal Zone Management Award, the program supports the design, permitting, construction, and adaptive management of nature-based projects that benefit a community, municipality, or county.
