About this opportunity

The Rockville Emergency Assistance Program (REAP) provides temporary emergency financial assistance to eligible Rockville residents facing hardship. The program helps with rent (to prevent eviction), utility shut-offs, prescription medications, medical and dental expenses, food, and other basic needs. Referrals for emergency food, clothing, financial counseling, and employment counseling are also available. The program is also available to furloughed federal employees in financial crisis, and residents over 60 needing help with prescription costs under $200 can contact the department directly.
