About this opportunity
Maryland's Department of Natural Resources Shoreline Conservation Service (part of Watershed & Climate Services) provides technical and financial assistance to waterfront property owners, individuals, groups of homeowners, non-profit organizations, community organizations, local governments, and businesses for completing shoreline and streambank erosion control projects along the Chesapeake Bay, coastal bays, and their tributaries. The program funds vegetative (living shoreline) and structural erosion control projects to prevent sediment loss, reduce pollution, and protect shorelines, as encouraged by the Living Shoreline Protection Act of 2008.
