About this opportunity

The Maryland Department of Aging (MDOA) awards formula and competitive grants totaling more than $750,000 annually to senior centers across Maryland to support innovative programs and critical operating needs. Each county receives a base allocation based on the population of residents aged 60 and older. An additional $100,000 is allocated on a competitive basis and is open to all counties, with select counties competing for supplemental funds to run innovative programs serving historically underserved communities. In FY25, competitive supplemental grants were awarded to Caroline, Cecil, Harford, and Worcester counties.
