About this opportunity

The Small Business Marketing Grant Program helps local small for-profit, non-agricultural businesses in Garrett County, Maryland fund marketing and promotional efforts to improve visibility, attract new customers, and grow their operations. Two tiers are available based on employee size: one for businesses with 1 to 25 employees and one for businesses with 26 to 75 employees. For the 1–25 employee tier, grants are awarded as reimbursements of up to $1,000 (covering up to 90% of eligible marketing expenses) after approved purchases are made and documented, on a first-come, first-served basis subject to available funds. Applicants must provide a minimum 10% match of total project cost. FY 2025 grant recipients are not eligible to apply in FY 2026. The FY 2026 application cycle is now closed.
