About this opportunity
An annual grant program administered by the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) that funds Local Education Agencies (LEAs), schools, and nonprofit organizations working with Maryland public K-12 schools to develop and expand robotics education programs. The program supports STEM learning aligned with Maryland K-12 Computer Science Standards and the Standards for Technological and Engineering Literacy, helping students build critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration skills through Career and Technical Education (CTE) programming and preparing them for the 21st-century workforce. Programs may be offered during the school day or as extracurricular activities and may create new programs or expand existing ones. The grant period for FY 2026 is July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2026.
