About this opportunity

Grants available to heritage organizations and local governments located within certified Maryland Heritage Areas to support projects that advance heritage preservation and tourism. Non-capital grants of up to $50,000 and capital grants of up to $100,000 are available for projects specifically named in the heritage area's annual work plan and consistent with the Heritage Area Five-Year Action Plan and Management Plan. In the Heart of the Civil War Heritage Area, this covers Carroll, Frederick, and Washington counties.
