PWQ is a matching training grant program that helps small and mid-sized manufacturing and technology companies in Maryland improve the skills of their existing workers. The program reimburses up to 50% of qualified training costs for formal classroom and on-the-job training in new technologies and production processes. It is designed to improve employee productivity, increase employment stability, and strengthen the competitive position of Maryland businesses. The program also provides support services to help companies identify and address workforce needs.
