About this opportunity

Anne Arundel County funds design-build-maintain contracts with private firms to construct cost-effective stormwater Best Management Practices (BMPs) on privately owned properties. Contractors work with landowners to select a site, front the initial construction cost, and are reimbursed by the County after the project is built and verified to generate water quality credits. The program supports the County's compliance with its Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) permit and Chesapeake Bay Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) requirements.
