About this opportunity

The National Family Caregiver Support Program provides help and support for family and informal caregivers who care for older adults, people with Alzheimer's disease or related disorders, or children and adults with disabilities at home. The program recognizes the demands of caregiving and provides financial support through grants as well as non-monetary assistance. Services include information and referrals, help locating resources, temporary respite (relief) from caregiving responsibilities, supplies or devices to make caregiving easier, support groups, educational workshops, a quarterly newsletter, and an annual caregiver appreciation event.
