Outdoor Spaces Grant (OSG)

Up to $5,000 per award

About this opportunity

The Outdoor Spaces Grant (OSG), administered by the Baltimore Development Corporation (BDC), helps businesses in Baltimore City offset the cost of installing outdoor seating, parklets, landscaping, lighting, and other features that expand a business's use of outdoor space. OSG projects activate public areas, encourage community interaction, and contribute to vibrant street life in Baltimore neighborhoods. The program offers a reimbursement-based grant of up to $5,000; businesses must provide matching funds (1:1 match) and pay for the entire project upfront before receiving reimbursement upon proof of completion and payment. All grants require approval before work begins; work completed prior to application approval is not eligible for reimbursement.
