About this opportunity

The CDBG Program provides annual formula-based grants to the City of Salisbury to fund a wide variety of community and economic development activities. Eligible activities include neighborhood revitalization, economic development, improved community facilities and services, public services, housing rehabilitation, historic preservation, lead paint hazard reduction, and assistance to nonprofits and micro-enterprises. The City of Salisbury administers its own CDBG funds locally, selecting activities based on local needs and priorities. Each funded activity must meet at least one national objective: benefit low- and moderate-income persons, prevent or eliminate slums and blight, or address urgent community development needs.
