About this opportunity

Provides scholarship funding to current police officers, probation agents, or individuals planning to enter law enforcement who are enrolled in an academic program that furthers their career in law enforcement at a Maryland public senior institution. Recipients must commit to working as a police officer or probation agent in Maryland for at least five years within eight years after graduation, signing a promissory note and service obligation agreement. The scholarship does not have to be repaid if the service obligation is met; otherwise, it converts to a loan.
