Clean Energy Program - Energy Efficiency Grant

Up to $6,250 per award

About this opportunity

The Clean Energy Program's Energy Efficiency Grant provides funding to help residents in Prince George's County's designated Energy Resiliency Communities (ERCs) adopt energy-efficient measures in their homes. Grants offset the costs of energy efficiency upgrades recommended by a home energy assessment, including implementing efficiency measures and addressing barriers to adoption. Participants must also apply to the applicable EmPOWER Maryland incentive program (Pepco Home Performance with ENERGY STAR for market-rate applicants, or DHCD's Limited Income Energy Efficiency Program for income-qualified applicants). Note: The program is no longer funding electric incentives due to funding availability; only natural gas incentives remain available.
