About this opportunity

The Teaching Fellows for Maryland Scholarship provides financial awards to students who commit to working as a public school or public prekindergarten teacher in Maryland after completing their studies. Recipients must teach in a high-needs school (as identified by the Maryland State Department of Education, MSDE) or in a grade level or content area with a shortage of qualified educators. The scholarship covers tuition, mandatory fees, and room and board at eligible Maryland institutions and is renewable for up to three additional years (or four renewals for five-year programs).
