This grant provides funds to Local Education Agencies (LEAs) to cover transportation costs for student field trips to non-profit educational institutions designated as State-Aided Institutions (SAIs). The program aims to expand student access to enriching educational experiences. Priority is given to high-needs schools where more than 40% of enrolled students receive or are eligible for the federal Free and Reduced Price Meals (FARMs) program.
