About this opportunity

EUSP is the Office of Home Energy Programs (OHEP) electric assistance grant for low-income Maryland households. It provides a one-time grant per program year (July through June) to help eligible customers pay their electric bills. The grant amount is based on household income and electric usage over the past 12 months, and is paid directly to the applicant's electric company. Recipients may also choose to enroll in budget billing with their utility company to spread annual utility costs into even monthly payments and avoid seasonal spikes.
