About this opportunity

The Youth Engagement Programming (YEP!) Grants program provides funding to nonprofit and community organizations in Howard County to develop free and accessible programming for young people outside of traditional school hours. Programs focus on social-emotional learning, mental health and wellness, and youth activities that keep youth active, connected, and thriving in their communities. Grantees are expected to leverage partnerships with other community organizations in Howard County. The inaugural initiative launched in Spring 2023 with $1 million in one-time funds and served over 10,000 young people through Fall 2024. Thirty-five organizations received FY26 grants.
