About this opportunity
The CDBG Recovery Housing Program (CDBG-RHP) provides federal funding from HUD to states to expand stable, transitional housing for individuals recovering from substance use disorders. In Maryland, DHCD administers the program through an annual competitive funding round. Awards support the creation or expansion of transitional recovery housing specifically for women in recovery who have children residing with them, are seeking reunification with their children, or are pregnant. Maryland county governments (including Baltimore City) may apply directly or on behalf of eligible nonprofit organizations that provide recovery housing and related services.
