About this opportunity
A partnership of Maryland state agencies, the Chesapeake Bay Trust, University of Maryland Sea Grant Extension, University of Maryland Environmental Finance Center, NOAA, and the EPA that provides coordinated technical assistance and capacity-building services to local communities to support watershed protection and restoration activities in Maryland. Services include planning and design grants, project management assistance, stormwater financing support, and training opportunities. The program connects and coordinates various resources and technical assistance available across the state to local governments, nonprofits, universities, and community groups. Five Regional Watershed Restoration Specialists provide on-the-ground assistance to communities.
