Bard High School Early College Baltimore Grant
Up to $300,000 per award
About this opportunity
The Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) administers an annual grant to Bard High School Early College Baltimore (Bard Baltimore), established by House Bill 150 (Amendment 46) of 2017. Bard Baltimore is a four-year, tuition-free early college high school where students can earn 60 transferable college credits and an Associate of Arts degree from Bard College alongside a high school diploma. The program serves high school-age students — particularly those from low-income and historically underrepresented communities recruited from under-resourced middle schools in Baltimore City. MSDE releases a Grant Information Guide (GIG) and Application for Participation each fiscal year, and awards one grant of up to $300,000 annually to support the program.
