Montgomery County's SBIR/STTR Matching Grant Program provides non-dilutive matching grants to small biotechnology, medical, and life sciences companies in Montgomery County that are applying for or have received federal Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) or Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) awards. Described as the only county-level SBIR/STTR match program of its kind in the country, it was established in 2018 and updated to reach more early-stage biotech companies.
