About this opportunity

The Community Food Assistance Grant Program provides competitive grant funding to 501(c)(3) food assistance provider organizations in Montgomery County to support the purchase and distribution of shelf-stable, fresh food, and/or prepared meals to county residents experiencing food insecurity. Grants help ensure continuity of essential food assistance services, close service gaps, standardize data collection, increase flexibility and transparency in funding, and increase access to locally-sourced, culturally-relevant food options.
