About this opportunity
BARM is a state-funded reimbursement grant to non-state local law enforcement agencies. It reimburses 50% of the cost of bullet-resistant body armor vests purchased for sworn law enforcement officers in any Maryland county, incorporated city or town, including Baltimore City. State agencies are not eligible. A 50% cash match is required from local government funds or agency/county budgets (not state or federal grant funds, except Federal Bulletproof Vest Program funds are allowable for match). Reimbursement is made on a quarterly basis following timely submission of quarterly fiscal and programmatic reports.
