About this opportunity
Baltimore County awards federal HUD funding (CDBG, HOME, and ESG), State of Maryland funds, and Baltimore County General Funds through an annual grants process to nonprofit and government organizations serving County residents. Three funding tracks are available: (1) Homeless Services — projects that prevent homelessness or assist people who are currently experiencing homelessness; (2) Public Services — projects addressing needs of low-income residents in areas such as employment, crime prevention, child care, health and welfare, drug abuse, education, energy conservation, and recreation; and (3) Capital Projects — projects meeting needs of persons with disabilities or supporting public facility improvements for general community development.
