Investment Window 3 (IW3) of the Climate Catalytic Capital (C3) Fund provides grant funding for early-stage pre-development work that turns a clean energy concept into a project ready for financing. Many clean energy projects never reach financing because feasibility studies, engineering, design, financial modeling, and permitting are too expensive to fund out of pocket. IW3 fills that gap by funding the work needed to produce a clear answer about whether and how a project will move forward.
