About this opportunity

The STAR Program preserves and improves single-family properties by rehabilitating them and updating them to applicable building codes. STAR loans may also be used to build replacement houses under certain conditions. Loans are funded with federal HOME funds and are fully deferred at zero percent interest. Grants may also be considered on a case-by-case basis. HUD requirements apply as loans are funded with federal HOME funds.
