The Maryland Innovation Initiative (MII) promotes commercialization of research conducted at five qualifying Maryland academic research institutions: Johns Hopkins University, Morgan State University, University of Maryland Baltimore (UMB), University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC), and University of Maryland College Park (UMCP). Administered by TEDCO, the program helps move promising technologies with significant commercial potential from university labs into the marketplace.
