About this opportunity

The Continuum of Care (CoC) program promotes a community-wide commitment to ending homelessness. It provides funding to nonprofit providers and state and local governments to quickly rehouse individuals and families experiencing homelessness while minimizing the impacts of trauma and dislocation. The program also promotes self-sufficiency and access to mainstream programs for people experiencing homelessness. Baltimore City's Mayor's Office of Homeless Services (MOHS) runs the local competition process to select projects for submission to HUD. Projects may be new, renewal, or expansion, and funding amounts are determined through the local competitive ranking process and HUD's final award decisions.
