About this opportunity

The Maryland Energy Administration (MEA) offers grants to help Maryland fleet companies, organizations, and communities purchase or lease newly manufactured zero-emission medium-duty or heavy-duty vehicles and heavy equipment for commercial or industrial use, as well as electric school buses serving Maryland public school students. Grants cover up to 75% of the incremental cost of eligible on-road vehicles and off-road equipment, with separate funding pools for each category. Supplemental funding is also available to pair EV purchases with new charging infrastructure installation. The program accelerates adoption of zero-emission vehicles in medium and heavy-duty applications, reducing greenhouse gas emissions and promoting cleaner transportation.
