Howard P. Rawlings Campus-Based Educational Assistance Grant (CBEAG)

$400 – $3,000 per award

About this opportunity

A need-based financial aid grant for Maryland undergraduate students who missed the March 1 FAFSA or MHEC One App deadline and were therefore not considered for the Howard P. Rawlings Educational Assistance Grant. State funds are allocated annually to participating Maryland colleges and universities, which select and award eligible students. Award amounts range from $400 to $3,000 per year, calculated as 40% of OSFA adjusted financial need for students at four-year institutions or 60% for community college students. Total state aid may not exceed the cost of attendance or $28,000, whichever is less. Students cannot hold the CBEAG simultaneously with the Guaranteed Access Grant, Part-Time Grant, or Educational Assistance Grant. The grant does not have to be repaid.
