Child Sex Trafficking Screening and Services Act Regional Navigator Program (RGNV)
Up to $1,750,000 per award
About this opportunity
The Regional Navigator Program Grant (RNPG) funds community-based nonprofit organizations, Designated Child Advocacy Centers, and Rape Crisis Centers to provide screening and services for child sex trafficking victims under the Child Sex Trafficking Screening and Services Act of 2019. The program places Regional Navigators in jurisdictions across Maryland to connect children identified as potential trafficking victims with needed services, helping them achieve self-sufficiency and safety. The program began as a pilot in 3 jurisdictions in FY2020, expanded to 10 jurisdictions, and has since expanded to all 24 Maryland jurisdictions using ARPA (American Rescue Plan Act) funds. Grant funding is disbursed on a quarterly reimbursable basis, and the program operates on an annual NOFA cycle.
