Planning grants for organizations that want to develop a new AmeriCorps program in Maryland. Funded organizations use the grant period to build the foundation for a successful AmeriCorps operational program that includes a defined, member-focused career pathway that intentionally embeds workforce attributes into a service term. Planning grants support program development and capacity-building activities but do not fund AmeriCorps member positions during the planning year.
