About this opportunity
The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides nutritionally balanced, low-cost, or free lunches to children each school day. Schools and residential child care institutions receive federal reimbursement for meals that comply with USDA nutrition standards. All 24 Maryland public school systems and 22 nonprofit private schools and residential childcare institutions participate, giving over 900,000 students access to nutritious lunches and snacks daily. Funds help offset the cost of producing meals for students.
