About this opportunity
A competitive grant program operated by the Maryland Energy Administration (MEA) that provides funding to workforce training centers and academic institutions to expand their capacity to support offshore wind workforce training and education in Maryland and the broader U.S. offshore wind market. Funding is split between two Areas of Interest (AOIs): AOI 1 (Industry Education) supports developing or expanding offshore wind education programs for the general public at any education level, and AOI 2 (Workforce Training) supports new or existing workforce training centers developing or expanding offshore wind certification-based training programs.
