About this opportunity

A last-dollar scholarship for eligible Maryland residents who enroll at a Maryland community college. After all federal and state financial aid (excluding loans) is applied, the scholarship covers any remaining tuition and mandatory fees, up to $5,000 per academic year (minimum $100/year, or $50/semester), renewable for up to two years. It supports students in credit-bearing vocational certificate, certificate, or associate degree programs; sequences of credit or non-credit courses leading to licensure or certification; registered apprenticeship programs; and non-credit continuing education courses through the Promise Non-Credit Application.
