About this opportunity
The BOOST Scholarship Program provides scholarship awards to help eligible low-income students attend participating nonpublic (private) schools in Maryland. Students must qualify for free or reduced-price meals (FARMs) and be enrolled or accepted at a participating nonpublic school for grades K–12. Award amounts vary based on household income, student grade level, special education status (IEP/IFSP/504 plan), and financial assistance provided by the school. The scholarship check is sent directly to the school and credited toward tuition. Approximately $9 million is available for an estimated ~2,500 awards; the prior year funded ~2,800 students across 19 Maryland jurisdictions.
