About this opportunity

A paid ten-week fellowship that places current graduate students in local government roles across Montgomery County, including the County Council, Executive Branch departments, the Office of Legislative Oversight, and the Montgomery County Economic Development Corporation. Fellows work directly with elected officials and senior staff on policy analyses and research projects, conduct independent research, and present policy recommendations to the full Council. The program runs June through early August each year and includes weekly meetings with Councilmembers and field trips throughout the County.
